Race Start: Boone, NC (Appalachian State Football Stadium)
Race Finish: McRae Meadows, NC (Highland Games Track)
Race Distance: 26.2 Miles
Start Time: 6:30am
Weather Report: 65-70 degrees 15% chance of rain

Surface: Paved/Gravel Roads
Elevation Gain: Approx. 2,600 feet
Starting Elevation: 3,333 feet
Ending Elevation: 4,279 feet
Aid Stations: 11 (about every 2-3 miles)

Race Plan:
Food Intake: Pre-Race Pop-Tarts, 3 granola bars, Gatorade energy chews 6-pack, and likely some snacks off the aid station tables
